Um, why would you think that? Minecraft is progressing, not dying.
Ekatera is like Russia when it was a monarchy! Back when Russia liked its monarchy that is.

Progress is subjective

In what way is minecraft progressing?

Microsoft and Mojang do not have servers like this in mind my friend

I would not be surprised if they pulled plugin support making this server vanilla

Toilet, think of this for a minute:
Minecraft is currently one of the largest sandbox games today, raking in millions of dollars from game sales, merch, and Realms, not to mension MINECON
Minecraft is mainly built around the community, with people using servers, mods, plugins, you name it.
If Microsoft was actually going to ruin minecraft, it would have done so already
Because minecraft is so prominantly based around the community, doing something like killing plugins would kill minecrafts playerbase. Not to mension that minecraft code isnt really hard to get ones hands on, and it would be simple for a pleb coder to make a new plugin with a loophole, once its found.

Ok mr. Toilet paper
you are clearly uninformed, minecraft is adding more and more plugin support, not taking it away

The multiplayer support was actually intended to be waited on for 1.13, but some changes were necessary for 1.12.2
